High pressure plug valve is often called low torque valve. Compared to 10,000 & 15,000 psi gate valve, plug valve torque is low. and plug valve volume is smaller than gate valve. The most popular type for plug valve is FMC and Halliburton type. Now we can supply 3″ 15000 psi specification for the 2 types. As working pressure is high, so we use forged body for plug valve.
