In our production scope, we will meet with different kinds of safety valve, Safety valve, SCSSV, and SSV. But all safety valves apply same part — spring. We will find their difference by description and photo.
Safety valve, 3” x 4”, 300lb, 90 degree angle type. This kind of safety valve is normally used on pressure vessel to relief gas in case of over pressure, fire or other emergency situation.
SCSSV, subsurface safety valve, 2-7/8” X 10000PSI, length: 1305mm. which is used in downhole well. Actuate pressure is 10000 psi.
SSV, surface safety valve, 3-1/16” x 10,000psi, hammer union end, EE, PU, PSL3, PR1.
